Product Detail:- Water based stains for concrete.
- LITHOCHROME Tintura Stain is a low VOC, environmentally friendly stain that includes vivid reds, yellows, blues, pastel pinks and beiges and even grays.
- The waterborne stain penetrates and bonds with porous concrete or cementitious toppings for permanent, nonfading, predictable colors.
- When finished with a concrete sealer, it is durable enough for interior floors, walls, columns and other decorative features.
- Tintura is formulated specifically to stain concrete or cementitious toppings. Unlike coatings or paints which often delaminate when used on concrete, Tintura chemically bonds with cured concrete that is uncolored, color hardened, or integrally colored. It is also compatible for use with cementitious overlay toppings.
- Either a translucent or an opaque appearance can be achieved with this proprietary system. Up to three coats may be applied to increase color intensity. The final installed appearance will be unique depending on the color consistency, condition and porosity of the substrate and the cement and aggregates used.
Color Chart: Examples shown represent three coats of LITHOCHROME Tintura water-based stain applied over uncolored, medium gray concrete, and then sealed. The concrete color effects produced may differ significantly from that shown on the color chart. A representative test section should be prepared for each individual concrete surface prior to general application. Concrete colors shown above are approximate, due to shade variations associated with individual color monitors and printers. We strongly recommend that a test piece be poured and approved prior to starting the job. Test pieces should be poured replicating jobsite conditions.

- Per Pint: Recommended coverage rate is 125-150 square feet per coat. Maximum: 3 Coats.
- ie: One Pint doing the maximum 3 coats will cover 40-50 sq. ft.
- Per Gallon: Recommended coverage rate is 1000-1200 square feet per coat. Maximum: 3 Coats.
- ie: One Gallon doing the maximum 3 coats will cover 330-400 sq. ft.
- LITHOCHROME Tintura Stain must be applied full strength without
thinning.
- The coverage will vary depending on the method of application,
the porosity and texture of the surface, and the appearance desired.
- One, two, or three coats may be required to produce the desired color
effect and intensity on colored or uncolored concrete and cementitious
toppings.
- Packaging: Available by Pint (premixed), or Gallon (2 separate
containers: 1-Gallon of uncolored Base, and a premeasured Tint Cup of
the selected coloring agent).

- Build color by applying 1, 2, or 3 thin coats.
- Must be atomized using an airless sprayer, automotive gun or HVLP sprayer for large areas.
- DO NOT MOP OR ROLL ON!
- Wear a properly fitted P100/organic vapor respirator (NIOSH TC-84A approved) during application.
- Do not breathe vapors or spray mist.
- May be applied by other means for artwork and graphics not subjected to abrasion.
- Water clean-up.
