Product Details:

Velcro backing pads for Diamond Polishing Pads.
Threaded for a 5/8" chuck (standard grinder/polisher size).
Semi-Rigid backers are slightly flexible and offer some bending of the polishing pads to accommodate polishing curved surfaces.
Rigid backers are made of either hard durable plastic, or aluminum, and don't flex at all. Best for polishing of flat surfaces.
Backer Pads have rust proof threads, and a Velcro 'hook side' surface.
Tip- Using a 4" Diamond Polishing Disc on a 3" Backer (or a 5" Pad on 4" Backer) allows the edge of the pad to bend, which helps when trying to polish curved areas, such as in a concrete sink. (3" Convex Diamond Pads are designed specifically for polishing sinks and curved surfaces).
