Sodium Tru Hard Colloidal Densifier is a protective concrete treatment formulated to chemically react with the lime in concrete to form an insoluble silica gel. Tru Hard fills the pores of the concrete just below the surface and deeply into the concrete, and provides a positive seal that resists deicing chemicals, water, grease, and oil. It prevents “dusting” of new and old concrete floors, and it will seal the concrete to significantly reduce the level of radon gas penetration which is known to cause lung cancer by the EPA. Tru Hard Sodium is a permanent, silicate-based, deep-penetrating sealer which means that it will last for the life of your concrete because it chemically bonds to the concrete to become part of its integral structure.

Sold in Ready-To-Use and Concentrate.  Concentrate Colloidal version: You add water, normally 4 parts water to one part concentrate, before use.  Example: The 1 gallon size, you add 4 gallons of potable water to make a full 5 gallons of material. 

Coverage: Approximately 300 sq ft per gallon. (Typical coverage is 250-350/gallon first coat, second coat 350-500 (optional) depending on surface)

Our formula is highly effective in making concrete physically stronger and denser, protecting it against frost and salt while increasing its resistance to stains, acids, alkalis, moisture, mold, and mildew. 

This treatment will cure damp basements by preventing hydrostatic water from penetrating through the concrete.

Tru Hard Sodium is also used as an economical polishing aid in floor and concrete countertop diamond polishing. It is generally used on interior or exterior concrete for all-in-one sealing and dust-proofing on warehouse floors, food storage areas, educational facilities, and medical facilities.

Make sure to check out FLOOR POLISH (sold here).  This is the topical coating you should use over your polished/densified concrete surface.  It's not a wax, but a unique surface treatment to help protect and reduce stains, and can be applied simply with microfiber applicator and burnished for a high gloss shine.

NOTE: Not recommended to use with Acid Stains.
