Concrete Bench Mold - Barn Wood Plank

  • A precast mold set that will create a 4 foot, rock-solid, rustic, grained wood effect bench.
  • This is a simple plank bench features a 20″ x 48″ wood top resting on a base on each end, which are likewise detailed in end grain lumber.
  • This simple kit offers a design that is uniquely rustic in nature and can be colored in a variety of ways to fit the needs of the surroundings
  • Polyurethane mold set can be used over and over without worry of fatigue and failure
  • Three piece mold set weighs 100 lbs and requires a large, flat, and sturdy surface for proper pouring
  • DUE TO SIZE, this bench mold set must ship Freight.  If you place an order, we will work out the best freight price and contact you with the cost and confirm if you want to proceed.  Freight cost for a single bench mold is usually in the $250-$500 range, depending on where you are located.
  • Reinforcement of concrete to industry standards recommended
  • The bench pieces for this Wood Bench are interchangeable with another Bench Mold we offer- the Flagstone Bench.  You can mix and match bases/tops with these two models as desired.
  • What's Included: 1x Wood Texture Bench Top Mold, 2x Base Leg Molds, 1x Wood End Grain Touch Up Stamp Skin.

To Use Concrete Bench Mold - Barn Wood Plank

  • To use: You will use each of the included 3 polyurethane molds, creating the 3 pieces of concrete needed to assemble the bench.  When you fill a mold, the top surface should be troweled smooth, and then use the provided touch up stamp of the wood end-grain, to texture that concrete surface as well (use an appropriate concrete release (sold here) so the stamp skin doesn't stick in the concrete).

  • Installers can use almost any concrete, we recommend using a high strength mix.  Mixes/admixes sold here, or view our DIY Concrete Recipes here

  • Coloration can be completed by use of Integral color (sold here) placed into the concrete when the concrete is mixed and poured, or it may be stained (sold here) after de-molded and cured.

  • A final seal is recommended.  D2K (sold here) is a great sealer for benches.
